I was once told at a costmetic surgeons office that beauty is painful. Trying to achieve beauty with laser treatments can indeed be painful and might even be disfiguring. And you thought acne scars were bad.
So, be prepared and do your homework. Learn the facts and risks involved before you undergo any cosmetic procedure. You don’t want to be featured as a cosmetic surgery gone bad story on your local news.
So what options are left?
Often, you can save money by having some procedures performed by a licensed esthetician. These treatments include spa peels and microdermabrasion. These treatments can cost less than if they were performed by a dermatologist, but can still be quite expensive at $80-$300 per treatment.
