The reviews are mixed on Zenmed’s scar treatment. Many people report fading and elimination of mild to moderate acne scars while other people report no difference. We’ve given this product a high rating for a couple of reasons. First, it nourishes the skin without damaging it and is a tremendous value compared to other more expensive scar treatment alternatives such as laser, Fraxel or dermabrasion. Secondly, is it’s cost and guarantee compared to other treatments. The cost/ benefits of this product make it worth trying. With all that said, I have personally tried this product on a surgery scar. A surgery scar is much deeper often times than acne scars and the results were that after the first week of using this product I did notice a difference in the color of my scar. The scar became lighter and started to fade. The scar was not completely eliminated, but it has faded considerably since I started using this product.
I can not speak for other people who have tried this product, but I can say that I would recommend this product for those who have mild acne scarring or discolored skin left by chronic acne. People with more severe scarring might only experience minimal results, but those who are worried about damaging their skin through the use of lasers or medical treatments might want to give this a try first. Permanent discoloration and damage is a real concern of many. A friend of mine had dermabrasion done which permanently left her discolored on half of her face. She now needs to wear make-up and lotion 24hrs a day to protect her skin. This treatment is beneficial when used consistently over time. It is not an overnight cure.

Zenmed’s scar treatment consists of two products – The microdermabrasion complex and skin eraser. The microdermabrasion complex is applied to the skin to help remove the top layer of skin. It’s purpose is to smooth out uneven skin left by scarring or scar tissue. It is designed to work in conjunction with the skin eraser to help fade scars faster. The skin eraser lightens the skin which helps with noticeable redness caused by acne scars.
There are 10 treatments in each kit and it is recommended that you treat your skin 2-3 times a week with this product. This scar treatment kit works on scars, pits and skin discolorations.
Pros: Price is great compared to other scar treatments, not to mention the value of what you get for the price. Quality of ingredients in this product help keep skin healthy and this scar treatment is safe to use on all skin types – which is a huge plus. The guarantee is 60 days so you have a chance to see if the scar is starting to fade.
Cons: May not work on more severe scarring or certain types of deep scars. May take up to two months to really see a difference.
