Review:

Proactive is the most popular and commercially known of all acne treatments on the market. It is no surprise why it is so popular when it is endorsed by beautiful celebrities such as Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Vanessa Williams. Wouldn’t we all love to have skin like some of the celebrities we see on film and t.v.?

There are hundreds of customer’s that have experienced results with Proactiv Solution and I can guess there are hundreds more that have not been helped. This is mainly due to the fact that Proactiv only works to treat surface acne. Not only that, the ingredients are not beneficial for all skin types and can cause acne to worsen on skin that is more sensitive to stronger ingredients.

The ingredients contained in Proactiv are not unique and are not much better than typical over the counter products you can purchase at your local drug store.

Pros: Celebrity endorsed, good for certain types of acne requiring Benzoyl Peroxide as an active ingredient

Cons: Mixed results, not good for all types of acne, not good for sensitive skin types, pricey compared to over the counter acne creams containing similar ingredients.

Since Proactiv contains Benzoyl Peroxide it is not recommended for people with sensitive skin.  If you do have sensitive skin we recommend DermaCleanse Acne treatment or Exposed Acne as a natural, beneficial treatment that clears acne long term and is gentle for sensitive skin.
