Question by : I need a good acne product that really works and is preferably natural and cheap!?
I have used proactiv and murad, and they both fucked me over in the long run. I am just now getting off murad, but I still use epiduo and dermatologist prescribed pills.my acne is moderate to severe and I would like some acne products that are natural, and work well! Any input is appreciated, thanks:)

Sorry, if such a thing existed there would not be a multi billion dollar industry geared toward acne. Altering the diet to avoid lots of carbs or dairy is free and may work.

Research has shown that benzoyl peroxide is the GOLD-STANDARD in treating acne. The FDA has classified it to be safe.
But, if you insist on using a natural product, then you should consider TEA TREE OIL.
Research has shown that tea tree oil have antibacterial effect on acne bacteria. However, in comparison to benzoyl peroxide, it less effective. The concentration of tea tree oil used in the study is 5%.
You can buy 100% tea tree oil at your local drugstore. But the problem is that you have to dilute it down to 5% to be safe. Apply 100% tea tree oil can be bad because it is potent and can burn and irritate your skin. The negative outweighs the benefit in that situation.
I cannot find any product on the market with 5% tea tree oil. Good lucking finding one that is reliable.

Clean your skin gently with a mild, nondrying soap (such as Dove, Neutrogena, Cetaphil, CeraVe, or Basics). Wash once or twice a day, including after exercising. However, avoid scrubbing or repeated skin washing.
Shampoo your hair daily if it is oily.
Try not to squeeze, scratch, pick, or rub the pimples. Although it might be tempting to do this, it can lead to skin infections and scarring.
If over-the-counter acne medications – like Panoxyl etc don’t work see your doctor again. It takes trial and error to find the right product.
