   Well it depends. How bad is your acne and what type do you have? Sometimes only a dermatologist’s medicine can get rid of it. Bit if you have mildish acne then use ST ives apricot scrub, aveeno foaming cleanser, clean and clear persa gel-10(on the spot treatment) olay spf facial lotion.

   I use this combo and I hardly get any breakouts anymore. I’ve tried proactive and all those other ‘promised’ solutions but this is the only thing that works for me. I use everything every day(except the on the spot treatment. I use that when needed). I use all of it at night and use the aveeno cleanser and olay lotion in the morning.

   I recently started using the Obagi skin treatment line for sun spots and it is awesome. I believe they have an acne treatmeant line as well. You may want to research it and visit the Obaji web site. Good Luck

   I have used Proactiv, and after a period of time it seemed like it stopped working, there are so many products out there to choose from.

   The truth is that all skin types are different. I use a combination of the Neutragena 3 step acne system in the morning, but at night i use in order: 1. Clear skin Acne Cleanser 2. Clear skin Blackhead Formula 3. and the Night Creme from the Neutragena 3 step system. But this works for me. It drys out my skin but that’s what every acne system will do if your doing it night and day! That’s a sign that you’re using it correctly! Apply an OIL FREE moisturizer in the morning so it wont clog your pores and you wont have dry skin.

   Actually, the key to getting rid of acne only relies partially on your product. The real key to getting rid of acne is creating a regimen that you follow daily. keeping your acne on a schedule is very important. To get rid of acne, the only thing you need is a GENTLE face wash (like noxema or cetiphil), a treatment product containing benzoyl peroxide (preferably nuetregena on the spot), and a good moisturizer. Most people mess up and make their acne WORSE because they fail to realize that using too many/too strong products only further irritate their acne. So it’s important to use a gentle face wash and moisturizer with no active ingredients. And be sure your treatment contains benzoyl peroxide. it works way better than salicylic acid.
