What is the best acne cleanser or cream or whatever to treat acne on the face? I work in a restaurant (McDonald’s to specific) and I am cashier. I wanna know what are some good acne treatments and cleaners out there.

I was on Tetracycline for years, but it never really did much for me. I now use Dalacin which was prescribed to me and it works amazingly.

I worked in McDonalds for five years, eating there primarily twice a day in one way or another. And contrary to opinion, I did not gain any weight from this. As for my skin, I have found that moisturization is the best weapon against acne. Well for me i used oxy and I also use the one my dermotologist gives me. I say the ones you get from a dermotologist help more because it makes acne go away faster.
I don’t really have a great answer, but I can tell you what NOT to use:
don’t give into the tempting promises of Proactiv solution. It doesn’t work all that well, it strips skin of all oils, some of which are necessary…. and thus forcing your skin to create double the amount of sebum (skin oil) to make up for what it’s losing.
Plus, Proactiv has this system where you sign up in their club, and they send you their product ever 60 days. This is problematic, because they just send it even if you don’t need it, and they charge your bank account without informing you. They just charged me and I had zero dollars in my bank account, so I went into debt, and my bank charged me for “overdraft protection”… etc. BAD situation.
On the bright side, I use Dermalogica ultracalming cleanser for face and eyes, and at night: dermalogica Overnight clearing gel. It’s great for super-sensitive skin =D
Ok sorry, but the person above is wrong. Proactive is a great solution. It got rid of my acne. I had horrible acne too. I been using it since I was in the sixth grade and my face still looks great. It only takes a few days to realize all your pimples and acne are disappearing. Use it!!
I went to the doctor after my spots were really upsetting me (people made fun of me), and he prescribed me of Tetralysal (Lymecycline) tablets to take twice a day, and Tretinoin cream to put on my face twice a day.
