Question by Maddie: What are some good acne cleansers?
I’ve tried many things. Such as: clean & clear, oxy, stridex, neutagena, and proactive a while ago!
My acne isn’t very severe, just lots of white heads, black heads, and minor pimples.
It’s just make my skin look blotchy.
so any ideas?

Clearasil Ultra? That doesn’t have any alcohol (which irritates the skin).
You should try washing your face every night with Dove Facial Cleansing Cloths.
i use neutagena deep clean in the morning and at night. only when im desperate do i use proactive. there is this special neutagena that comes in this orange box/tube that gets rid of your acne in 8 hours. and guess what???it does!!! i applied it and after 2 hours i already felt my pimples disappearing. look for it at target.
to get rid of black heads wash your face with hot water to open pores and then squeeze at the black heads. white stuff should come outs. to get rid of white heads under/right next to your nose wash face with hot water and take a rough towel and scrape it off. it sounds disgusting but it works. wash your face again afterward
also try:
aloe vera-apply at night rinse off in morning
honey-apply for 15 min
lemon juice-apply for a few seconds
I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
