Benzoyl peroxide Treament Gel For Mild Acne
Hi.
I have recently purchased a 3 step acne-treatment product. (cleanse, treament (benzoyl peroxide gel – 2.5%), moisturize.
On the first day of use I cleansed my whole face but only applie the benzoyl peroxide gel ( a generous amount of it) to one cheek (where i have mild acne).
That night I done the same again. The next day I done the same but applied the BP gel to both my cheeks. By the next 3rd day my face was quite itchy.
I have not used the products for the last 3 days and have just washed my face morning and night with nothing but water until the itchyness went away. Now today my skin is grand.
What I have noticed is that my skin is noticably clearer and less blemished than before I started using the treament.
However, I am wondering, should I try the products again but only once every 2 days and in a very small dose of BP-gel with plenty of moisturizer afterwards? or should I just forget about this treatment because of my skin reaction?
Thanks.

i use this product myself an i also deal with it at work. i had the same problem it felt like my skin was burning when i put it on. it is nothing to worry about benzyl paroxide is ment to burn a little. (i checked it in my medical book at work) it is the paroxide you call fell meaning it is doing its job of drying the spots out.
If you think you got allergic reaction as a result of your cream, better not to use it. Try some other cream or antibiotics.
