Question by Alyssa Gina: How long does it for to help with acne/breakouts?
I often skip periods (just 1 or 2 at time). I have since I was 18 (I’m 28), but now when I skip, I get strong PMS-like symptoms. My right side of my face keeps breaking out. I went on Loestrin to try to lessen the symptoms, get my body more in line. It’s been almost a week, but my skin hasn’t improved. Tho it’s not worse. If it indeed helps, how long will it take?

It takes about a week for the whole effect of birth control to start up. I’d imagine it would take a week for the acne protection to start. But you’ll have to get rid of the existing ones yourself. Birth control doesn’t do that.

It was never critical but I always dream of having a perfect clear skin and in the last couple of years this has started to become a reality!:) (with occasional spot here and there…oh well..) but these are the products that really helped me!They actualy worked!
