basically what I’m asking is is there a difference between acne scars and other kind of scars? if something gets rid of acne scars would it work for any kind of scar?

I would assume so, yeah. Maybe treatments/creams for acne scars are gentler on the skin though since you’re putting it on your FACE. If something to get rid of regular scars (like Mederma) is cheaper than cream for acne scars, I would just go and buy the cheaper one because it should work the same way.
EDIT: in response to the other person’s answer… lemon juice will really dry out your face. I wouldn’t recommend doing that.
lemon juice before bed then wash off in the morning you should see results within the first 1-2 days.
